Anna Marie Goldy

Anna Marie Goldy (Gerner) passed away on June 2, 2020.

Anna Marie was born May 25, 1942, in Woodbury, NJ to Anna L. (Eckhardt) and John W. Gerner. Anna grew up in Barnsboro and lived there with her parents through graduation from Pitman High School in June, 1960. She then pursued her goal of becoming a nurse and graduated from the Helene Fuld School of Nursing at West Jersey Hospital in September, 1965. Anna did further studies in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania and spent her entire professional career in nursing with several hospitals in South Jersey.

Anna Marie and Day Harris Goldy were married January 5, 1980. The couple lived in Westville, where Anna continued to reside after her husband passed away in 2003.

Anna enjoyed traveling in the United States, often with her aunt, Emilie Wolf. She was also active in several book clubs and enjoyed gatherings with nursing school classmates  for many years after graduating.
