Anna P. Louis
April 19, 1930 - December 11, 2020
Anna P. Louis nee {Domico} 90 of Westville died on December 11, 2020 at Home with her family by her side. Anna was born in Landisville, NJ and has resided in Westville for 81 years. Beloved wife of the late George.
Survived by her 2 sons; James (Fran) and John (Kelly); 4 daughters; Diana Briggs, Shirley Wenner (John), Linda Yovnello , Nancy Molloy; 2 brother Robert Domico and Michael Domico; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Anna loved her family more than anything, but also had many things that brought her great joy.
For many years, Anna and George (her husband of almost 65 years) enjoyed weekend trips to their trailer in Cape May Courthouse, where they went fishing every weekend. She especially loved the day she caught a huge flounder, just a few ounces more than the one George caught, a few seasons before.
Anna especially loved to play bingo, and went faithfully, twice a week, keeping meticulous records of her weekly wins and losses. She loved playing scrabble and 500 rummy, and doing her word searches, along with her occasional trips to the casino.
Anna started working at Joes Diner, the family business, when she was just in her teens, but loved to tell stories about the years she worked there, and all the friends she met along the way.
For many years, she made her famous spaghetti and meatballs once a month, on Thursday nights, but took time off every year to take their annual trip to Myrtle Beach.
There is so much more that can be said about Anna, in that she loved her family, loved the Lord, and loved her life...and raised her family, to do the same.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday 10:30 AM at St. Joachim RC Church 601 W. Browning Rd., Bellmawr, NJ. There will be a viewing Wednesday 8:30-10:00 AM at the Ellis-Stiefel Funeral Home 301 Highland Ave., Westville, NJ. Interment will be in Wenonah Cemetery, Wenonah, NJ.
