Anthony ("Tony") Orest Polis

January 13, 1968 - May 26, 2024

Anthony ("Tony") Orest Polis, age 56, resided in Woodbury, New Jersey, with hometown roots affectionately of Westville, New Jersey, sadly left our world on May 26th.

For over 30-years, Tony worked for J Ambrogi Food Distributors as a driver and shop steward and belonged to Teamsters, Union 929.  He loved cats, he was caring for two strays, which he affectionately named Squeaks and Gronk.  He loved the Raiders, Flyers, Phillies, going to concerts & researching our family's heroic military history.

Tony kept to himself, but if you had the pleasure of knowing him, you knew he was extremely loyal, and always displayed a kindness and generosity that touched the lives of all that knew him.  He, much like his father, had a good sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.

Preceded in death by his father, Joseph Raymond Polis, Grandparents Joseph & Dorthy Polis of Westville & Orest & Jean (Mayberry) Leon of Clifton Heights, PA, and leaving a legacy through his Mother Barbara (Leon) Polis of West Deptford and his beloved brothers and sisters, Joseph A Polis of Philadelphia; Kimberly (Polis) & Lawrence Roese of Pennsburg; Mark & Jessica (Snyder) Polis of Deptford; & Barbara Polis of Westville.
