Arlene Vondran (nee Snyder), 90 of Westville NJ, died on July 24, 2015 at Brightview Woodbury Lake. Arlene was predeceased by her husband Carl and two daughters Debbie and Carlene. Her many years of service were spent at Cooper Hospital before retiring. She is survived by nieces Carol Suhr and Nancy Wolfe; dear friends Rita Messick, Steve and Julie Humeniuk, and Seth and Caleb who called her Nana. Arlene was a private person who loved deeply and gave freely. Despite the loss of her two children and her husband, she embraced the life she had without complaint or bitterness, maintaining a positive outlook on her circumstances. She understood the simple joy of nature's beauty, taking delight in a beautiful garden on a pleasant afternoon. To outsiders, Arlene appeared to be skeptical and jaded. But those who knew her appreciated her sense of humor, and her trademark phrase, "Oh my governor!" Arlene owed no one anything, but the continuing debt of love. That is the bill she endeavored to pay each day of her life. She will be greatly missed.
