Donna Jean Meiler-Knestaut

November 9, 1959 - June 6, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donna Jean Meiler-Knestaut of West Deptford NJ formerly of Clarksboro on June 6, 2021 with her family by her side at the age of 61. Donna was born in West Deptford to John and Ruth Meiler nee Mazur on November 9, 1959.

She started her childhood years in Greenfields Village as the youngest of 4 children and later moved to Clarksboro where most of her early memories were made. One of her first jobs was working for her father pumping gas and helping at the gas station along with her mother and brother.

During her teenage years she enjoyed camping with her Mom and Dad and meeting new people. (Especially when the people were teenage boys.)

Donna enjoyed her times spent taking drives with Steve and going out to dinner. She loved to go on family trips.  She enjoyed putting jigsaw puzzles together, caring and watching her grand children and great grand children grow. She would spoil her pets, and liked planning and attending  parties. She wore her heart on her sleeve and enjoyed reading to her grand babies at anytime of the day. She would lovingly bond over late night talks with her grandkids.

Donna is survived by her husband Stephen P. Knestaut;  her daughter Jean Marie Costello (Bird); 5 grandchildren  Neva Costello; Fallyn Costello; Syren Costello; Adalyn Girtain; Silas Girtain ; 2 great-grandchildren Rylie Costello; Paxtyn Costello (and soon to be Cataleya Storm); 2 sisters Hope Hain of Clayton and Lynn Meiler-Stiefel of Mullica Hill; 1 brother John J. Meiler III of West Deptford and many nieces , nephews, in-laws and outlaws.

Donna will be remembered for her heart of gold and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of her love. A celebration of Donna's life will be held on June 18, 2021 from 5:30 – 9:30 PM at the Greenfields Fire Company 31 Budd Blvd. West Deptford NJ 08096
