Dorothy E. Burke Dorothy E. Burke {nee Lee} age of 91, of Rio Grande, NJ died on December 18, 2010 at Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury, NJ. Dorothy was born in Paulsboro, NJ and formally worked at Campbell Soup of Camden. She was a cook for the Greentree Restaurant of Thorafare. She enjoyed cooking; bingo; shopping and was a member of the Paulsboro Moose Lodge. Survived by her husband Edward; a son Ronald {Katherine} of Cape May; 2 daughters Dorothy Ficara {Bruce Hemple} of Mantua and Shirley DeSimone of Elmer; 3 brothers Robert of Woodstown; Harry of Woodbury ; Jimmy of West Deptford; 3 sisters Janet Bradford of Pilesgrove; Fran Hughes of Pittsgrove; Peggy Franchetta of Rio Grande; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Thursday 11:00 AM at the Adams-Stiefel Funeral home 203 West Broad Street, Paulsboro, NJ where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Interment will be at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to donor's choice of charities.
