Obituary

Joshua Lee Moore

Joshua Lee Moore {35} of Pittsgrove, NJ formerly of South Harrison, NJ passed away suddenly in a car accident on November 29, 2015 in Quinton, NJ. Josh was born in Woodbury and graduated from Kingsway Regional High School class of 1999 where he played Football, Baseball and Wrestled.

Josh loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His first love was hunting after receiving his hunting license at the age of ten. Josh quickly fell into a hunting fever which became one of the biggest joys in life. You couldn't be in a room with him and have a conversation that didn't somehow end up being about hunting. Also his love of his taxidermy was evident when you stepped into his home.

You could tell that something inside Josh changed after the birth of his daughter, Allison, who referred to him as Daddy D. He became the best dad a little girl could ever hope for. He would do anything for her and he did. The two of them were inseparable and you knew how much they both meant to each other. He took her everywhere and did everything with her. They loved their time together in the woods looking for sheds. He hoped one day she would be his hunting buddy. They had already tried out a tree stand together, ( of course she just wanted to take funny pictures of them in their camo). She would always say "shhh" we are looking for deer. When the ping of the cell phone registering what just came on camera she would say "is it the big buck, Dad?" They had a love for their two border collies, Kolby and Riley.

One of Josh's favorite things to do was to plan each hunting season with his Uncle Jim, Uncle Matt and best friend Casey. They were for the most part brothers. Probably the most fun he had was busting on his brothers about something, or everything, but he was always there if they needed him.

He loved his niece like a daughter and loved to get her together with Allison to play or facetime. Josh was the type of person that always strived to make sure whenever he had to do something he did it the right way and the best way it could be done. He always went above and beyond with anything that he did. If you don't believe it go take a look at the electrical cables he ran at his Uncle Matt's house. Perfect.

Josh and his brother, Chadd, became electricians to follow in their Grand Pop Ralph Walsh's shoes and went thru the electrical apprenticeship. For Josh that wasn't enough. He went thru another one for a total of 8 years. He really did enjoy working with his brother Chadd, on a job, but tried not to admit it. He was a great all around guy. Josh worked as a electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 351 Union in Folsom.

Survived by his beloved daughter Allison Rose Moore of Pittsgrove; his mother Wendy Walsh of Swedesboro; father Mori Moore (Darlene) of Linwood; 2 brothers Chadd (Becky) of Northfield; Todd of Swedesboro; a niece Addison Moore of Northfield; paternal grandmother Joan Moore; Uncle Jeff Walsh(Terri); Uncle Jim Walsh (Fiona); Uncle Matthew Moore; Aunt Nancy Moore-Gregal (Eric) His cousins Matthew (Jess), Caitlin, Ashley, Kris (JD), Hunter, Savannah, Matthew, Sedona; his best friends Casey Gardzielik and Will Briddell.
