Katherine  (Kay) E. Sweeten Cole (nee Krimm)

August 21, 1936 – November 30, 2023

On November 30, 2023, Katherine (Kay) E. Sweeten Cole (nee Krimm) of Clarksboro died after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. She was 87 years old.

Kay is survived by her children Richard (Karen) Sweeten of Mullica Hill, Glenn (Nancy) Sweeten of Dover, De. and Debra (Michael) Ewing of Paulsboro. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Cole, ex-husband Bob Sweeten, son Steven Sweeten, parents Charles and Lillian (nee Gartley) Krimm, and siblings Marge McCall, Elsie Clifford, Charles Krimm Jr.

Kay was born in Woodbury on August 21, 1936. She grew up in Westville and graduated from Woodbury High School.

She spent her entire adult life in East Greenwich where she raised her family and retired from Bunnel Plastics.

She and Fred liked to frequent clubs where they could dance to Country-Western music. She also enjoyed traveling, shopping and card night with her lady friends.

The family graveside service will be private.
