Father Marshall Joseph Halphen

March 23, 1936 - December 29, 2021

Halphen, Rev. Marshall J., died on December 29, 2021 at the age of 85.

Fr. Marshall fulfilled his life-long dream of being a servant of Jesus Christ as a priest for 58 years. He taught in high schools and universities as well as served as pastor in many parishes on the east coast.

Fr. Marshall, son of the late Marshall and May Halphen, is survived by two sisters, Mary E. Greipp and Margaret A. Rihl, along with many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved little pet dog, Ria.

Fr. Marshall will be remembered for his compassion and willingness to always reach out to those who needed him. He will be greatly misses by all.

Viewing will be held on Thursday morning, January 6 ^th , at Our Lady of Hope Church, in Blackwood, from 9:00am to 10:45am, followed by Mass at 11:00am. Interment will be at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr following the Mass.
