Michael Mccafferty's Obituary
Michael McCafferty lost his battle on August 2 from complications of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He
fought long and hard and left a loving family which consisted of his wife of 32 years, Jean DeSimone McCafferty
and his devoted daughter, Alexa (Bill Ryan) and his much loved 2 year old granddaughter, Violet Ryan.
He was a loving stepfather to Shane and David Niji.
Michael lost his parents, Charles and Violet McCafferty, but never forgot how much he loved them.
He is survived by his siblings, Cathy (David), his three brothers Larry, Charles and Steven.
Michael was a 1972 graduate of Paulsboro High School. He was a diligent student who enjoyed learning about Finance,
a joy that continued into his adult years which developed a life long passion for following the Stock Market.
As a small child, Michael had a true affection for dogs and his two constant companions, until his final days, were Max and Chester,
his favorite Chihuahuas.
There is a permanent hole left in the hearts of Michael's family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
