NANCY L. MORINA

October 6,1937 - February 16, 2025

Nancy Loretta Morina (nee Bernardino) passed peacefully on February 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Born on October 6,1937 in Paulsboro, NJ to Guido and Pierina Bernardino, Nancy graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1955 with honors. Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Nicola R., Sr., and her brothers Angelo and Victor Bernardino and sister Sue Formica.

She is survived by her two sons Nicola R. Jr. (Lisa) of Mickleton and Dennis M.Sr.(Terri) of Westville; Grandchildren Brooke (Robert); Dennis M. Jr.; Ryan (Jenna); Alexis(Kevin); and Adam. Great grandchildren Ava, Quinn, Luca and Gwen and many loved nieces and nephews.

Nancy worked at United States Naval Yard in Philadelphia as a Personnel Coordinator for over 25 years. For many summers Nancy enjoyed camping with her family in the Poconos. With a big personality that exuded warmth, Nancy loved to dance at weddings and parties, play pranks and greeted everyone with a big smile. She was known for helping both members of her family and the community.  Nancy also loved the holidays where her Thanksgiving Day dinners included Naval Yard personnel who had nowhere to go for Thanksgiving, sometimes adding more than 10 enlisted men in the festivities. What Nancy loved most was the Annual Christmas Eve parties that she and Nick hosted (most of these parties lasted well into Christmas Day). These parties included family, friends and anyone else that wished to stop by. Seeing her family and friends smiling, laughing and just being together brought her so much joy. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 2nd at The Son's of Italy in Paulsboro, NJ from 1pm to 5pm for all who wish to share a memory or raise a toast to a life well lived.
