Rosemarie Davis

Rosemarie Davis (nee Trimer) died peacefully at her home on January 20, 2019. Rosemarie was born
and raised in Altoona, PA, where she attended both high school and nursing school. She served in the
U.S. Army Nurse Corps during WWII. She met her future husband, Donald W. Davis, in Altoona and they
were married there in 1949. Rosemarie and Don moved to Woodbury in 1953, where they resided in the same home for 65 years. Rosemarie had a long nursing career at Underwood Memorial Hospital in
Woodbury, until her retirement in 1982.

Rosemarie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved reading and traveling. She
and Don took many trips to Penn State Nittany Lions football games, and vacations on scenic beaches.
They traveled every year to Anna Maria Island, Florida, where they enjoyed many relaxing days on the
beach and beautiful sunsets.

Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, and is survived by: her four children, Ann
Custer, Nancy (Mark Skolnick), Mark (Kathleen), and Amy; and by her four grandchildren Adam, Mia,
Craig and Kira.
