William J. Ball

January 21, 1950 – April 8, 2023

William J Ball passed suddenly and peacefully at home on April 8, 2023.

To know Bill was to love him. He naturally drew people to him by his charismatic personality and witty sense of humor.  No truer words can be said, he was a happy go lucky guy who loved and lived life to the fullest. He was devoted to his wife and was so proud of his two sons. His biggest passion was playing golf, he cherished the camaraderie with his golf buddies and held dear to his heart the lifelong friendships that he shared with his childhood friends and many others.

Bill is survived by his wife Florence (Floss), two sons William (Charlotte) Ball, Robert (Alix) Ball, four Grandchildren, brother Thomas (Deborah) Ball. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Helene Ball, brother James Ball, brother Michael Ball.

He attended Rutgers State University where he earned a Bachelors of Arts degree majoring in Political Science, Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. He continued on to Indiana State University where he earned a Master's of Science Degree majoring in Public Administration, Graduate Assistant.

Bill was a veteran in the US Army and a member of the Army/Navy Union Garrison #52, and American Legion Post 133.
